This committee of the Mennonite Church of Normal seeks to engage the congregation in actively responding to local, national, and global issues of peace and justice. The committee is a member of the local chapter of Illinois People’s Action. We also support the local, national and international initiatives of the Mennonite Central Committee. Each year we have offer Mennonite Central Committee materials on peace-making at the Illinois Mennonite Relief Sale, and local peace and justice initiatives.
